This PRS Custom 24 from 1987 is in wonderful overall condition and is 100% original, and includes the original hardshell case. This Custom 24 is finished in Tortoise Shell ( the first year this finish was offered ), which has faded over the years to a little bit of a brighter orange / copper hue. There is some slight wear to the back, only to the nitro clear coat, nothing through the finish or into the wood. The top has a couple of small clear coat dings, but nothing exposing wood, or easily visible without a closer inspection. Considering this instruments age, we rate this at EXCELLENT Condition.

This instrument is in 100% original condition. The frets are very good shape, and show some minor pitting in the few frets. We rate these frets 8.5/10 - playing perfectly with minor pitting in a very select area. The pickups, pots, switch, hardware, and all parts and components work perfectly and 100% original. The guitar plays great, and has a fat / warm tone that these early models are known for. The original PRS hardshell case is very good overall condition and is included with this instrument.
