The Guild M-65 Freshman was introduced in 1958, as a simpler version of the M-75. It Has a maple or mahogany top (sunburst and blonde / cherry finishes respectively), mahogany back, sides and neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and a single pickup.

CONDITION 

This Guild M-65 Freshman 50's-60's - Used is in good overall condition headstock has had a mild in house repair by our tech. Veneer was re glued and clamped, Head stock has no cracks or damage to it and is structurally in very good shape. Tuners work as they should without issue and appear to be original. Nut may have been replaced at some point and is in good shape. Frets have mild wear throughout but have a lot of life left in them. Fret board is in good shape with no wear. top of body is in good overall condition There is some surface level scratches  from years of playing throughout its top that can be seen in different light. There is mild binding separation in 2 locations on the treble side of the body (As shown in photos). Pick guard is in good condition with no issues. Pickup works without issue and is original to the guitar. Pickup ring is original with no cracks. Pots and knobs are original. Bridge and tailpiece are original and work without issue. Back of headstock is in good shape with no excessive wear, cracks, or repairs. Back of neck is in good shape with 2 small dings that do not impact its feel. Back of body is in good overall shape with a mild amount of wear from years of use. No major cracks or repairs. Original chipboard case is in good overall condition for its age. Hinges, latches, handle are all intact and work without issue. Neck rest and center pocket are intact.
